Marriage Template Question

Hi all/Nick

I am trying to adapt the 1837 Rich Text English Template to make one for a Roman Catholic marriage in Ireland.

The Register entry at the top reads:
1878 Marriage solemnized at the Roman Catholic Chapel of Cahir in the Registrar's District of Cahir in the Union of Clogheen in the County of Tipperary

I have changed the code to

Code: Select all

{RTF-TITLE}{YEAR}, Marriage solemnized at the Roman Catholic Chapel of {ADDR.SHORT} in the Registrars District of {ADDR.SHORT} in the Union of {PLACE.SHORT} in the County of {PLACE.MEDIUM} {RTF-TITLE.OFF}
...from using
Place: Clogheen, County Tipperary
Address: Cahir
This gives the result:
1878, Marriage solemnized at the Roman Catholic Chapel of Cahir in the Registrars District of Cahir in the Union of Clogheen in the County of Clogheen, County Tipperary

Is it possible to adapt the codes to achieve the original text please?

Take a look at the =COMMAINDEX[n%{PLACE}] function that is similar to the FH =TextPart(...) function and can extract any comma-separated part from the PLACE field.

This would get something closer:

Code: Select all

{RTF-TITLE}{YEAR}, Marriage solemnized at the Roman Catholic Chapel of {ADDR.SHORT} in the Registrars District of {ADDR.SHORT} in the Union of {PLACE.SHORT} in =COMMAINDEX[-1%{PLACE}]{RTF-TITLE.OFF}
