Ancestral Sources 7.6.6 - cannot view census entries from FH
I am using FH 7.0.18 and Ancestral Sources 7.6.6 (64-bit).
I created several census entries for an individual in AS without using templates, and could view them in FH. I then watched the Nick Walker tutorial videos and set up the census templates in FH, and AS.
When it came to using Tools/Census Source Convert none of previous entries were showing as sources in AS, so I have been unable to convert them.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this should be, and how can I make them visible to AS again ?
Thanks for your help

Nick, I have moved this to the Ancestral Source forum as this is an AS topic and not a Plugin problem.
In the Source Convert dialogue what filters have you applied?
If you untick all the filter options, the Source box should say on its right how many sources match the filters.
As you apply filter tick options that number of sources should reduce.
Click within the Source box to see the droplist of source record titles.
Click the ? in blue circle top right or hit the F1 key to obtain the Help page for Census Source Conversion.
[ BTW: How are you getting on with the Create list of 250 people for MyHeritage (21358) process? ]

Mike
This is one census entry that I created without a template:
And this is what I see in AS with the filter:
I am not sure why the 1861 census is not appearing as a source

I presume you have clicked the Apply Filter button.
Clear the Title contains: filter and click the Apply Filter button.
Try unticking the Plain-text source text only filter on the left and then the Source Filter (see Options) at the top.
Do any of the above steps list your Source records?
If so, which steps and which Source records?
Have you customised the AS Tools > Options > General settings for Source Identification of Census Source type?

Mike
Many thanks for your help.
It was unchecking the plain-text source box that made them visible.
All so easy when it works
Thanks again

So your Generic Sources are using Rich Text formatted Text From Source fields, i.e. not plain-text.
