not given option to save image to media folder
Since I updated AS last week I realised that all my saved images were using links to the download folder instead of into the Project Media Folder. I can't work out how or where to change the setting so it automatically saves to the Media folder

I think you've possibly ticked the 'Remember my response....' option on the pop up.ireneblackburn wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022 15:41Since I updated AS last week I realised that all my saved images were using links to the download folder instead of into the Project Media Folder. I can't see how to get it back though - you might have to reset to defaults. Nick will advise the correct way.

You can reset that particular setting in Tools-Project Specific Settings.

Thanks Nick, I have left it so it prompts for the destination folder and all okay. Then I checked my sources and found 17 that had to be corrected. It kept me busy!

Re: not given option to save image to media folder
This setting is specific to a particular project so that's why it isn't in Options. It may be that in one project the media is saved in the project itself and in another it isn't. But yes I do understand why you wouldn't have thought to look thereneil40 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022 11:51Thanks Nick. Re: not given option to save image to media folder
I have had the same problem and I managed, after some fiddling around, to reset it for one project. Now I've moved to my main project and I'm blessed if I can a) remember what I did, or b) replicate it. Please save my sanity and give me a clear instruction on how to reset it so AS prompts me for where to save the media! Thanks ...

Re: not given option to save image to media folder
AS Tools > Project Specific Settings... then tick Show 'Copy Image Fie' dialogue and click the Reset button.
Click the Help button and it explains that process near the bottom of the page.

Thank you. I felt like I was trying every variation and it was simpler to ask!
