cannot download AS 7.3
I have tried to download both 64 bit and 32 bit several times today but it stops half way through and says 'network error'
I have been able to download things from other websites without any problems and would appreciate any help

Re: cannot download AS 7.3
I downloaded it a couple of days ago and just downloaded is again a couple of minutes ago. Both times were successful.
I know this sounds a bit silly, but have you tried to reboot your PC? It's amazing the issues a reboot will fix!

PC Restart is worthwhile.
Irene, what browser are you using and what anti-virus package and what Windows version?
Can you post a screenshot of the error message.

A Windows update was downloading in the background, I have installed it and will try downloading AS again in the morning

Re: cannot download AS 7.3
In Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update I make use of the Pause Updates and Advanced Options features to postpone updates for two reasons:
1) Delay the Windows Updates to allow any snags to be ironed out by other Windows users before I apply them.
2) Let me choose when Windows Updates get performed so they don't interfere unexpectedly.

Re: cannot download AS 7.3
Thanks for the advice Mike. I will certainly try that.
I still can't download AS, it gets to 4.1 of 8.1MB then stops and says Network error.

Can you post a screenshot of the error message as that may give a clue to its origin.
Try a different browser.
Try temporarily suspending your anti-virus package.

Re: cannot download AS 7.3
Mikes advice is good.
The easiest thing to try first is reboot your computer. You have probably done a "Restart" as part of the Windows update, but I would recommend a complete shutdown of your PC and your router. Switch the router back on first, give 2 or 3 minutes to reboot, then switch on the PC.
Anti-virus is probably the next easiest - most have an option to temporarily suspend operation for 10 or 15 minutes.
If neither of these solve the problem then try another browser, especially if you are using Chrome - this problem seems most commonly reported with Chrome, and probably also affects Microsoft Edge, which is now based on Chrome.
I would try something like Firefox.
