Excuse my ignorance but is there any way to get the information captured in 'Text from Source' printed as part of the various FH reports?

Yes, when you are looking at the report in FH, click on Options... (button on the right) and then the Sources tab and tick the Append from Source Record: Text from Source check box. You could also tick the option to Show Source Pictures. You might also find selecting Landscape orientation beneficial on the Page Layout tab.

If you are using Generic Sources, also check out Tools > Preferences > Sources and the Generic Source Formats... that has options for both Source Record and Citation details including Text From Source.
