How can a wife be a mother?

Post by HowardRP »

I entered a new couple to my tree using AS to enter their marriage.
All went well as far as I was concerned, I've done it before.
I now find they appear on the tree correctly but the wife is also shown
as the mother of the husband! A yellow diagonal line joins the two.
Most probably to correct it is easy but do you think I can find it.
Help would be very much appreciated.

Regards ...........Howard

It is not really an AS problem. Presumably, you have chosen the wrong woman either as wife or mother at some stage.
In the Focus Window, show the husband/son as the Focus person with the same woman as his wife and mother.
Right-click whichever woman has the wrong relationship and choose Unlink Record.

Hi Mike
Many thanks, that solved it.
I had the same problem some months back and corrected
it at that time. Put it down to a senior moment. Duh!
