Issue with main page grid

Post by Buchanquine » 13 Feb 2021 17:22

Hi I am a new user and not all that IT literate.
i have an issue with the main page grid. It looks nothing like the one shown in the help pages. The bottom left hand side is blank. There should be something there that lets you add parents, siblings etc.
I found if I click on the edges of the boxes I can resize them, so tried that and found that when I move the grid from the middle to the extreme left then I see the links, but in doing that I lose the entire left of the screen.
Is there something else I should be doing?

Do you have Windows 10?
If you right-click on the desktop of your computer and choose Display Settings, what does it show for the Display Resolution and also the % scaling (under the Scale and Layout section).

Best wishes

Thanks Nick. No, I am on Windows 7, but I took a look at the display settings and found the scaling was 125% - changed it to 100% and it worked. This is a great time saver for inputting large amounts of data!

All the best

Anne
