Hello,

i am very new to use sources and it's for me difficult to understand how to make them good in FH 7

for example i have the book "Genealogisches Handbuch des Adels, Adeligen Häuser" from the year 1971 and this wil i mark a source, the person stand on page 301, i make the source and then i have another person this stand on page 302, must i then make for every page a new source ? because if i create a source from the template book i can put there a page in, but when i the same copy to the next person and change the pagenumber then by the previous it change to.

how can i make this good ?

Hi Jan. Firstly, you only need to create a single Source record for the book. Thereafter, when you create the Citation that links, say, the Individual to the Source, you can add the "Where Within Source" field to record the specifics for that person (eg. the page number and, possibly, additional text from that page). Hope this helps.
