Changes to census occupations

Post by mezentia » 20 Apr 2016 19:58

I've found that if I have made a mistake in an occupation for an individual on a census entry, then on a later census I try to correct it (e.g. wrong capitalisation: draper's assistant should be Draper's assistant) my correction gets replaced by the incorrect version. Has anyone else come across this? Obviously I can go back into FH to fix it, but it's a bit of a bind if I'm doing successive census entries for a family.

In FH use Tools > Work with Data >Occupations and correct it once and for all there, but wait until you have finished with AS.
