I wonder if someone could email me example image downloads of the 1939 register that show the information you would get from Find Your Past? (Nick AT Ancestralsources DOT com).
Many thanks
Nick

Re: 1939 Register Examples
Nick, there'll be some on their way imminently (and also the data that was supplied if you paid for it before Findmypast digitised the register).

If you need any more let me know.
One thing to be aware of with the current template.
You enter the birth date as per the register entry but there is no place of birth listed. AS asks if you want to create a birth entry on saving if the place is left blank then FH throws an error when the gedcom is reloaded. Not sure if this is a FH 'feature' or an AS one. It is easy of course just to ignore the error. Just FYI.

Re: 1939 Register Examples
I have not experienced the problem Colin describes. I have used AS to create birth events where only the date is known (from 1939 register) and FH reloads as usual without any error messsage.

Re: 1939 Register Examples
Thanks Helen for the examples, much appreciated. I don't think I'll need any more now but thanks for the offer Colin.
I've tried to reproduce the error you mentioned Colin, but I can't get FH to report any problems. If I leave the place of birth blank then the place field doesn't get created in the GEDCOM file so I can't see what FH would complain about anyway.

I had it more than once. I will add some more tomorrow and come back with a detailed set of circumstances.
