I'm sure that once upon a time the AS Image Viewer used to remember the last used folder when adding images to a census entry. It's not been doing so for some time here, but I can't quite remember when.
Maybe I'm wrong and it never did?
[Edit]
Oh - and yes, under Census settings "Remember image folders" is ticked, which presumably means that it should remember.

Re: AS Image Viewer not remembering last used folder?
Have you tried the solution that worked for you last time you had this problem?
See AS Not Remembering Last Used Folder (11297)
Otherwise try this topic: Add/View Images (4927)

Re: AS Image Viewer not remembering last used folder?
Hi David
If you would like to send me a copy of the project settings file you'll find in your project folder in a sub-folder 'Plugin Data' within 'Ancestral Sources.appdata'. I'm hoping to release a new version of Ancestral Source later this month so if there is a problem with the way these settings are handled it would be good to fix it before then. (nick at ancestralsources dot com)
Thanks
Nick

Re: AS Image Viewer not remembering last used folder?
Thank you Lorna, going back and reading through Add/View Images (4927) I now realise that I should have the "Remember image folders" unticked as I don't my census images in a single folder per year.
I forgot to reset it after working on someone elses project which did have their census images stored that way.
DOH
