Nick,

Norton Power Eraser also identifies AS as a risk, with a default to remove program.

Not much I can do about it really other than advise that you get better anti-virus software. It is probably mainly because I'm not prepared to pay £100+ a year to add a certificate to AS.

Cheers

Nick

There are lots of free options here, and effectiveness/ popularity etc change. At the moment I'm with Avira which is down the list, but I felt I had more control, but recently moved from Avast. Can't remember why but I did not like their top pick Comodo.

I have no idea if they will give you the same problem, but I have not had a problem with Avira.

Just as an aside, I use Norton Internet Security 2014 and it doesn't flag Ancestral Sources as having a problem.
