Sources

As a Newbie, after a recent computer catastrophe, I've decided to start using Ancestral sources linked to my Project.

I was ticking along quite nicely thank you until I arrived at the source box (top left corner of screen) - which is "grayed out". Probably a simple answer, but how do I enter sources?

That box only applies to Method 2.
To start a new Census Source just select the Country and Year in the middle.

May I advise you work through the ancestralsources:index|> Ancestral Sources > User Guide Tutorials on the Family Historian Sample Project..
Also check the Help within AS, as it is usually quite informative.

BTW: Are you also using the Ancestral Source Data Entry Plugin that simplifies starting AS from within FH and ensures you area working on the correct Project data?
