Re: Canadian Census'
I have moved this to the Ancestral Sources forum, because it is not relevant as an FH Wish List item.
( FH always let you add any Census data for any country & year - it is just a little more tedious than using AS.)
I presume you are asking about AS Census Templates for Canada 1916 & 1921.
The Census Canada 1906/1916/1921 templates are available from the FHUG Downloads.
Please see fhugdownloads:ancestralsources|> Downloads and Links ~ Ancestral Sources.
As a relative newcomer you may also be interested in the Lookup Missing Census Facts Plugin that supports the Canadian Census records on Ancestry.

Re: Canadian Census'
I am new to using Ancestral Sources this year successfully entering UK BMD and Census on fixed years 1841-1911.
I have just tried to enter some family Census for Canada Saskatchewan Prairies Region for 1916, 1921, and 1926 and for some reason it does not seem to recognize these years for Saskatchewan even when I try to enter the year manually? Could you please let me know as how I can enter these Census records on AS for these years, thank you.
Will I experience similar problems with other Canadian BMD records - if so can you also let me know how I can also use AS to add these records also? Thank you

Re: Canadian Census'
If you read the previous 2014 posting it explains where the Canadian Census template downloads can be found.
They do not include 1926, but if you review how the templates are constructed you should be able to create a 1926 template using your knowledge of the Census columns for that year.
If you need more detailed advice then please ask.

Thank you for moving my post this morning to AS. I will have a look at your 2 links and work through entering my Canadian 1916 and 1921 Census

I did not move your post. I think you posted a Reply to this AS forum thread yourself.
It was the original posting in 2014 that I moved.
