V5 Upgrade vs Full Boxed version

Post by bro7arth » 08 May 2012 20:46

Hi, I have been using FH from V2.1 boxed version and went thru all the Upgrades, for V3 I bought the CD and V4 was a download. My question is, is it not better (although more expensive) to buy the full V5 boxed version than the upgrade. Should I go with the V5 upgrade and I need to re-load FH, I must start with my V2 CD and work thru all the steps. With the V5 full boxed version I would just need to load V5. Is my reasoning with the above correct? Please advice.

V5 Upgrade vs Full Boxed version

From the Knowledge base:
Unlike previous Upgrades, the Upgrade V4 to V5 product does NOT need the preceding Versions to be installed. It only needs the Upgrade V4 to V5 Licence and the previous Full V4 or Upgrade V3 to V4 Licence details to be entered.

Thank you Nick, I have also in the meantime had a look at the upgrade diagram in the Knowledge Base and now have a better understanding of this.
