How to remove flags

In version 5...

Foolishly I thought I could write my own query and use it to set a flag to indicate the presence of a 1911 census entry for an individual. (I do know that there is one already available, that's where I have been foolish - in not using it!)[oops]

So, I've ended up with all my individual records having a 1911 flag.

My question is how can I remove all of those incorrect flags? (Without doing each individual seperately) I know there is a query that will find all of them, the HAS FLAG query, but that appears to have a read only reult set.

As you were!

I've found it - Tools | Work with Lists and Flag | Select the required flag | Option 3 Clear the flag...

Panic over!

You could also have used Ancestral Sources to perform a flag check , to insert and remove flags.

If you are adding 1911 Census Flags to add Icons to Diagrams, or most other purposes, there is in my opinion another better way.
See Knowledge Base advice on Using Flags and Icons.

Also there are other ways of reviewing Census Facts, none of which use Flags.
See Knowledge Base FHUG Downloads:
Property Box Tabs: Census UK.
Property Box Tabs: Military & Census & Wills.
Query:Individual ~ Kinsfolk Census Queries.

If determined to use Census Flags then Ancestral Sources provides a more convenient way of managing them.
