Missing Queries after Transfer to W7

Post by oldtimer47 » 21 May 2012 16:45

Dear All,

Just used Windows Easy Transfer to move from an XP machine to a W7 machine. Installed FH5 and navigated to the project and got my data absolutely fine but my custom queries don't show up. Does anyone know where WET put them (if indeed it moved them at all) and how to get FH5 to see them ? The folder structure is quite different between XP and W7. Is there anything else I may need to move while I still have access to the old machine ?

Many Thanks
Peter

Peter, take a look at

http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... e_settings

which will tell you how to move the other items and where they are stored.

Missing Queries after Transfer to W7

Hi Jane

Thanks for the prompt response and link.

Once I found the folder it worked a treat (W7 helpfully hides the folder !!)

Also had to move custom fact sets & custom reports

Many Thanks
Peter
