Family Historian User Group

Could you please include a direct link to FHUG from the Internet tab in FH? I'm sure this would prove very helpful

It is already there through a few clicks.
First use Internet > User Groups or Help > User Groups then in the Family Historian page click The Family Historian User Group and then Family Historian User Group.

Also have a look at FHUG Download Utility ~ Extended Web Search Facility.
This explains how you can add URL to the Internet > Search the Internet list.

Personally, I have installed the FHUG Download Utility ~ FHUG Toolbar Add-on which provides a direct FHUG link and other toolbar features in my browser.

[EDIT 2016: FH V6 now allows Bookmarks to be added to the Internet > Search the Internet command, and FHUG could be added there.]
