Multiple upgrades over the years

Hello,
I have tried searching for the answer to the title but can't find the answer.
I originally bought ver 3 with the free upgrade to v4 online. I then bought v5 online and upgraded.
My laptop is throwing a wobbly and I think that I need to re-instal the operating system back to Vista. Is there an easy way of reinstalling ver 5 as a whole and not have to instal v3, then v4, then v5? I have the e-mails confirming purchase of v3 and v5 but the original download links have been stopped? Any advice on the best reinstallation method would be very much appreciated.
Best wishes

Presumably when you downloaded version 5 upgrade you kept the download? If not then that's a mistake not to make again - downloading paid for software and not keeping a copy of the download is the equivalent of buying software from a shop and throwing the DVD after you've installed it. However, I suspect an email to Calico Pie may be viewed with sympathy.
There's no need to install v3 and v4. Just install the version 5 upgrade and it will ask you to type in both the version 4 and version 5 serial numbers. All you'll need to do then is download and install the latest FH v5 update.
Hope that helps
Nick

If you email
support@family-historian.co.uk they will re-enable your download. Please make sure you send them the same email address you registered with (even if only in the email text so they can track down your purchase).
To re-install you only need your V4-V5 upgrade and your V4 and V5 license keys.

Hello Nick and Jane,
Many thanks for your replies.....I have had a hunt around and have found these files in a Family Historian safe file.
I think that I am ok then and all I need to do is to search my e-mails for the Licence numbers (which I am sure that I have). Do I need any others?
upgrade_fh_v4_to_v5.0.0-dl
upgrade_fh4_to_4.1.3
upgrade_fh5_to_5.0.7
I really appreciate your help.

Of the list of programs you mentioned, you won't need the upgrade_fh4_to_4.1.3

Check out
How to (Re-)install Family Historian.
You will need:
- Installation file upgrade_fh_v4_to_v5.0.0-dl that you have.
- V3 to V4 Upgrade Licence Name and Registration Key from E-mail.
- V4 to V5 Upgrade Licence Name and Registration Key from E-mail.
- Free upgrade_fh5_to_5.0.7 download from FH website if necessary.
Also checkout how to
Move Family Historian Settings & Projects.
If you reinstall
Vista you will need backups of everything mentioned there.
I would advise installing FH V5 Plugin
Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings.
Run its
Backup option and ALL your customisations, preferences, and settings will be saved within your
Family Historian Projects folder (or wherever you choose).
Backup all your
Family Historian Projects folder and all other
My Documents files to external storage.
Then after reinstalling
Vista, these files can all be restored.
Run the FH Plugin
Restore option to get back all your FH customisations, etc.
N.B. The FH Version must be IDENTICAL for both plugin
Backup and
Restore i.e. both V5.0.0, or both V5.0.7.

I would like to thank everyone for their responses to my reinstallation issue. I will try out the reinstallation instructions passed on by Mike and see if I can achieve a smooth transition!
I haven't used the software for a little while due to other commitments.....but this site never ceases to amaze me with regards to the quick response times and helpfulness of other FH users.
Thanks again,
