How do I show links to a loosely connected group?

This may well have been asked before but I can't see anything similar:
For some time now we have been researching my wife's ancestors in South London and have repeatedly found a number of people with same surname and in the same location but with no obvious link. This weekend we found a parish marriage entry that shows my wife's Gt G'parents witnessing the marriage of a member of the other group. As I say the surname and location is the same and even the church is the same as that used by my wife's ancestors. As the two males are of similar age we now think they are either cousins, or uncle and nephew ( though which way round it would be impossible to tell ), there has to be a vague possibility they may even be siblings.
How do other members suggest we might show them on a diagram?
We only have one project and I want to avoid having a disconnected branch.
Any suggestions welcome,
Dagwood

If you are determined not to have a disconnected branch, then you have no option but to connect it to your main branch.

You will have to 'plump' for a relationship, and in the Notes for the Individuals say that it is tentative.
