I printed out a chart for the first time with certain members marked as 'hidden' . The next chart had these members 'unhidden' however their boxes had a blue background - is there a way to ensure the entire chart is B & W ?

Tick the option 'Print text, lines and boxes in black-and-white only' on the Print tab of Diagram Options.
If you click the 'Hide' command to hide a box, its 'Hidden' flag is set and it won't ordinarily appear. But if you want to see boxes that have the 'Hidden' flag set, tick the 'Show Hidden Boxes' menu command. If you do this, the boxes with the 'Hidden' flag will be visible, albeit with a blue/purple background. To get rid of this, right-click on them and untick 'Hidden' on the dropdown menu that appears.

Thanks that's great - I've come to FH from years, off an on, with a previous prog and finding FH a delight.
