Query name
I downloaded a query and made some changes to it to suit my needs and now want to rename it. Is there a way to do that in the FH? On the General tab of the query, the title just says New Custom Query.

Re: Query name
To change the name of the Query as it appears in the list, and at the top of the Query screen, you need to save it again with a new name. Use the cog-wheel menu and Save as Custom Query then enter the new name and click Save. The old version with the previous name can then be deleted using the same menu.
To change the Title shown under ‘Print details’ in the General tab of the query you can type a new title directly into that box.

Re: Query name
I suspect the downloaded query author did not update the General tab.
It would be advisable for you to complete the General tab details.
To give it a new name use the cog Query Menu > Save As Custom Query... option and set a new Query Name.
That is what I suggest you should do initially to preserve the original downloaded query.
After renaming the query I advise you either delete the original or restore it to the downloaded state.

Re: Query name
Thank you both for the help. I did see the cog-wheel before posting but was not sure if I could just change the name somewhere without having to delete the query. It is changed now. Thanks again.

Re: Query name
Well for experts there is a way of renaming a query.
Use Windows File Explorer and Rename the .fhq file in the Family Historian Program Data Folder\Queries\Custom subfolder.
Ensure FH is closed while doing that and take great care not to upset anything else in those folders
