FMP Hint 'Bubbles'

Post by Rusty » 05 Aug 2023 13:29

Why do I still get these 'bubbles' showing the number of hints when I've cleared them and there aren't any new hints to show?

Margaret.

When you say you have "cleared" them, can you confirm you have hit the "Yes - Accept" or "No-Reject" button in the FMP page or have you done something else?

What are your Internet > Internet Data Matches settings?

Do you only have one copy of the Project on one PC?

Yes I have either accepted or rejected them all so there are no new hints.

All sorted now thank you, I've disabled all hints apart from the project that I was working on.

Thank you Mike, I didn't realise that I had to disable the matches on each project just leaving the one I was working on as 'enabled', hopefully all is working properly now! I should have known that it was something to do with me!!!!

I'm not sure how those settings on different Projects interact with each other.
Do you have the same Individuals in more than one Project?
That might confuse FMP.

Intuitively, it seems sensible to only enable 'hints' on one Project at a time.

This is one of the few 'customisation' settings that apply separately to each Project and not globally.

Yes, a couple of names recur over the projects which is how I picked it up, however I think that with your input it's sorted. Thank you.
