Splash screen in v7.0.21.0

The list of updates for version 7.0.21.0 includes an adjustment to the behaviour of the splash screen for multiple monitors.
"If you have multiple monitors, the Splash screen did not always appear where the main window would appear. It now appears centred on where the ‘restored’ (i.e. when not maximized) version of the Window will be."
I have a single desktop monitor and normally use the default screen on my laptop, although I did configure it to use the desktop monitor for several days when the PSU on my desktop PC failed and I was waiting for a replacement to arrive, so it does have two monitors shown in the display settings.
FH always opens full screen on both my machines, and whereas before the latest update the splash screen would always appear in the centre of the screen, it now appears to the right of the screen on my desktop and against the left edge of the screen on my laptop. I know this is a very trivial thing to moan about (as it seems to me would be the issue that led to the "fix" being applied) but it upsets my slightly OCD sensibilities and there doesn't seem to be an option to turn off the splash screen, unless I've missed it.
Is anyone else seeing similar behaviour?
