bookmarking individuals

Post by skrebic » 01 Jun 2023 20:23

Hello,

Is there a way in the user interface I can bookmark some individuals for faster access to them, such as it is going to file root through a single click?

Thank you.

Welcome to the FHUG.

That is not possible with one click but it can be done with two clicks by using a Named List.

To set it up open the Records Windows, and use Lists > Named Lists Pane or click the Lists icon.
I suggest using the standard Bookmarks list because that will be shown by default as it is early in the alphabet.
Select Individual records on the left and Add them to the Bookmarks list.
Leave the Named Lists Pane open.

Then to access the Individuals, open the Records Window to show the Bookmarks list, and click the desired Individual.

Great! Quick enough, two clicks. Thank you for your time and willingness to help!
