Little.auk - Regarding your first paragraph in Media Thumbnails (21799), you might find it much easier to Download the census images from Findmypast rather than printing them. Use the third Option "Download record" - to the left of Viewer controls. They download as JPGs.

I was originally posting this very answer, until I looked further. This is the transcript page not the image if I understand from reading it again. FMP has a FAQ that advises to print the page to file as it doesn't have a download facility for the transcript.

Yes, I always use the Print option for the transcripts on FMP (as well as downloading as a jpg if an image is also available) for much the same reasons as the original poster said - transcription errors which do not always make themselves obvious immediately!. For the print process, I select the printer "Save as PDF".

Rather than using the print option on transcripts you can always use the copy to clipboard option and then paste that direct into notes / citation or wherever.

Agreed, but it doesn't give me the formatting I want and which I achieve using AS. The PDF also gives me a bit more info if I need to look back at "old" stuff (eg date of pdf / output).
