To be clear, it's not that it does it that annoys, it's that it does it without any warning or message at the time. Just including an option on here
would be perfect.
My main PC is a desktop with plenty of space. My second FH installation is a laptop with limited space on it's SSD so I take the sample project off there. Apart from today's temporary loss of my test data, having the sample reinstalled when I upgrade the laptop is annoying. In my case the FH projects directory is shared to Google drive so upgrading the laptop would mess up the sample project used by by desktop - I'll have to do the upgrade with the internet disabled.

Reply from CP came back exactly 90 minutes after posting the ticket:
Thank you for your feedback. In future we recommend making a copy of the sample project if you are customising it.
I will pass your comments to the developers for consideration.

Re: Version 7.0.20 Released
I got a slightly longer reply:
The sample project is installed and reset as part of the installation, which I am afraid it has been replaced.
This is a designed. You might want to consider using a copy of the Sample Project if you are needing to customise the data.
I will pass your comments over to the developers for consideration.

Re: Version 7.0.20 Released
My trial import of the RM9 database to FH 7.0.20 indicates that the new version does not seem to have solved the issues noted in the release notes.
1) It is not transferring customized census fact "sentences" and modified roles. I would have expected this to be handled under it now transferring "ALL" facts per the release notes.
2) It is not converting citation notes to Rich Text, but instead shows the tags for underline, bold and italic text.
I've tried to report this via the FH7 site ticket system. However; it seems to be hanging and does not confirm the ticket was logged.
