Issues with upgrading to V7 from V6 on Mac with Crossover

Afternoon,
I have recently purchased the upgrade from V6 to V7 and the list of problems that I am experiencing is growing. (Unfortunately every time I upgrade I have problems).
1. Rather than upgrading the version I had, it created a new version, so effectively I have 2 different versions of the software running (which at the moment is proving useful trying to resolve the other issues) - I have 2 bottles within CrossOver - 1 for V6 and 1 for V7
2. Diagrams / Charts are opening perfectly in V6, but break in V7 (attached)
3. I ran the plugin to backup custom settings for custom tabs, record flag icons on diagrams and custom diagram scheme (the things that I can remember off the top of my head), however, when I attempt to restore this in V7 I get an error message saying that I can't restore from V6 into V7, which completely contradicts the idea behind the plugin, to be able to carry these settings from 1 version to another. The plugin that I am using is - Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings via Windows v1.2.1.
Can anyone offer any assistance in how to fix these issues please. I really don't want to move away from FH to a Mac based programme, but its becoming more and more tempting to just cut my losses and find something new that doesn't give me all manner of headaches every time I upgrade. I am fed up with starting from scratch with custom settings every time, but that was bearable, but now that the charts aren't loading (and I prefer to navigate around using the chart / diagram as I prefer the visual and the use of flags helps me see at a glance what I have.
I don't want to use another emulator as I have tried others and went with CrossOver as its one of the few that doesn't require me to purchase windows, allows me to have my Mac operate like a Mac still and I can switch between FH and the rest of my Mac (i.e. not operating a PC within a Mac and they function like 2 different machines - which massively slowed it down).
The noted issues here https://fhug.org.uk/kb/kb-article/runni ... crossover/ make no reference to charts or diagrams.
