Icons disappeared
I use a lot of record flags with icons attached, but after the last update (not the new) from today, they have all disappeared. Is the any way to get them re-attached, except the old way and re-attach them one after one?
Kind regards

Re: Icons disappeared
The latest version of FH is 7.0.19 which was released nearly 3 weeks ago. Is that the version you are using?
I'm not aware of anything in that version that would upset Diagrams.
Has anything else changed, like you've switched to a new PC?
Do you rely on saving your customised Diagram Options settings in the standard Diagrams, or do you use the Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type command?
Have you used either of the Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings plugins?
Please confirm exactly what has disappeared.
Are the Record Flags still attached to the Individual records?
Are there any Diagram Options > Boxes tab Conditions for Record Flags?

Re: Icons disappeared
I user ver 7.0.18 and save via the save menu as a FH diagram and i haven't used any of the plugins, and it is an 1 year old pc using win 11
I use about 20 different flags with attached icons, that is placed at the bottom of each text box and had always showed up when ever i asked MH to generate a tree from a person. It is in the daily normal diagram, that they don't show up anymore. The flags are there, but the association with my own homemade icons had disappeared. And i haven't moved my folder with my own icons (bmp). I can se now that that FH use a new format for their own icons??
I can of of cause reattach all of them - but was somewhat disappointed.
Kind regards
Klaus

Re: Icons disappeared
I'm not sure what you mean by the daily normal diagram so please state the FH command you are using.
I think you saying you use the Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type command to save settings.
So try using Charts > Custom Diagrams and selecting one of the saved custom diagram types.
It is possible that installing FH has reset the four standard Chart diagrams to default installation settings,
i.e. The Ancestors..., Descendants..., Ancestors & Descendants..., and All Relatives... diagrams.

Re: Icons disappeared
OK, but as I said it is possible that FH has reset the options for those standard four standard Diagrams.
Does using Charts > Custom Diagrams list any saved custom diagram types with Records Flag Conditions?
Have you used either of the Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings plugins to preserve your settings?
It is important to do that to protect against PC, disk, and other failures that upset your customisations as seems to have happened in this case.

Re: Icons disappeared
I strongly recommend that you do not rely on the Diagram Options settings in the four standard Diagrams.
They are saved in the Windows Registry that can be upset by Windows Updates as well as FH.
Do use the Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type command to save settings outside the Windows Registry.
