When adding 1871 census information,via AS, I found one of my ancestors (Anne Jane Ellwood ) living with her grandfather (Thomas Glover).At the time I added her as an unrelated individual. Thomas Glover had a number of daughters and I did not know which one was Anne's mother.I now know her mother was Alice Glover who I had already added from previous census information.

How do I now link Anne to the family of Alice and her husband,her parents?

Select Anne's record from the list in the Records window and click the Focus icon in the Main toolbar, to view Anne's record in the Focus window. On the Spouses and Children tab click on Add Anne's mother just above Anne's box, then select Link Exisiting Record. You can now select her mother Alice from the list of exisitng records. Click OK. You will now see a list of Alice's family records (if she only had one husband there will be only one family record in the list). Select the appropriate family record and Click OK again.

You can also do it by selecting Alice Glover and click the Focus icon in the Main toolbar, to view Alice and her husband(s) records in the Focus window.
Then use the Add Child link under the appropriate parents and select Link Existing Record to choose Anne Jane Ellwood.
