Regarding the Data Entry Assistant plugin Rename Source Media, I found that when to rename media (with the title of the source), certain characters like "ç" , "á" or "ã" among others, will not display correctly and will be replaced by random characters.
It will rename the file but with incorrect characters where the above examples are present.
Could it be related to the translation language I have installed for Portuguese?
I have check the forum and can not find any information about this. Any suggestions? Thanks

May I merge the two threads?
I suspect the DEA plugin is not handling UTF8 characters correctly and you must wait for the Author to respond.
