Windows 11

Post by Johnwrosser » 30 Jan 2023 10:46

I've just foolishly downloaded Win 11 and the right-click options now cover 2 pages but I prefer the 1-page version that was on Win 10. How can I get it to revert to that one simply, please?
Why is it that MS makes some things worse when they 'update' Windows?

John,
It would make more sense if you told us where you were right-clicking. The action of right click varies depending on where your cursor is
e.g. on desktop it does one thing, in file explorer another.

To be honest, I didn’t find Win11 much different from Win10

Note that this topic has nothing to do with Family Historian.

Here's how to enable the classic Windows right-click menu...

(Edited to a solution that includes a downloadable .reg file so that you don't need to edit the Registry.)
