* Place numbers ie "P" numbers

I decided to find in my 1700 records all records ie names associated with the Place Rendham in Suffolk.
I did a search and it returned to me numbers Ie P2763 & P3575.
This did not help at all I needed to go to the actual records direct I searched through many areas none helped
How (a) do I access the actual name record that hold these place names ?
(b) is there a list of P Numbers somewhere where i can click on and get there that way ?

What about Tools > Work with Data > Places select the place and then select Where Used on the right side. That pops up a query window with all the records that use that place then you can just double click on the item in the query window to see the record.

Or you could make use of the map.
Open map, tick the marker for the place, goto the marker/place on the map, then click on it. This will then open a list of all events/facts associated with the place. Double click on the entry and the property box for the person will open.

Tools > Work with Data > Places... is a good option.

Also, open the Records Window and select the Places tab.
That lists all Place records (in the same way the Individual tab lists all Individuals, or the Media tab lists all Media records).
The Place Names are listed in the Place Records column, and the P number is in the Record Id column.
Use the Place Name Filter at the top to find particular places.

also if you see 2 places of the same name but different text you can merge them to the correct text
An example is Hessle, Yorkshire, England with another name Hessle, East Yorkshire, England
The East Yorkshire description is the correct one. So merge them both and accept the later as the correct one.
There is a Hessle in West Yorkshire
