Is it okay to remove an unwanted Project within Windows File Manager or will that upset FH?

Why not do it from the Project window within FH (it's under More Tasks).

However, deleting the project folder in File Explorer won't upset FH.

As a minor additional point, if you are using OneDrive or similar, I find it easier to delete surplus projects directly from Windows as it is easier to deal with any sync issues that arise.
