AutoText Management

I have created a couple of custom autotext files for research notes to meet my requirements. These were created initially in the parent "Research" folder but subsequently in a sub-folder, called "Custom", to the research folder. This works great, being able to use the autotext file as a template when creating a research note. I wanted to exported these autotext files, but found I had no option but to export the entire "Custom" folder. If the files were in the parent folder, I was unable to export them at all.
Issue #1: I could not work out how to move any files in the parent "Research" folder into the "Custom" folder. Any clues on how to move these files between folders?
I imported the "Custom" folder into FH on my windows tablet successfully. I then created some new autotext files, in the "Custom" folder on the tablet, then exported the "Custom" folder to transfer the new autotext files to my laptop.
Issue #2: The import of the tablet's folder onto the laptop worked semi-successfully, in that, I now have two "Custom" folders on my laptop, "Custom" & "Custom (2)". Not ideal and back to the problem of Issue#1 above, not being able to copy/move files between folders.
I am sure I am missing something basic here, but blowed if I can see it. Help.
