How do I designate a fact type as non-printing?

Do I have to flag each one as private individually?
I created a DNA match fact that works wonderfully well --- except it appears on the reports.
I created a obituary fact that I want to print for the primary but not for any of the witnesses.

In the Options for a report, you will find lists of Individual Events/Attributes and Family Events/Attributes. Chose either which Facts you want to include explicitly ('List Only') or choose which Fact(s) you want to exclude ('Exclude List'). For your DNA Fact, you'll probably want to use Exclude List.

Selectively excluding just Obituary Fact Witnesses is more complicated than excluding a Primary Fact like DNA Match.
All the Reports for people have the Report > Options > Main or Contents setting for Inc Witnessed Events.
However, when not ticked that will exclude ALL Fact Witnesses and not just Obituary Fact Witnesses.
I have tried editing the Tools > Fact Types... Fact Witness Roles... definitions such as Role Name, Past Tense, and Advanced... > Template but there appears to be no way to exclude the Fact Witnesses for specific facts.
There is a special case for Narrative Reports. The Role Sentence Template can be defined as {blank} and just those Fact Witnesses will not appear in Narrative Reports.

Thank you Mike and Helen.
I think I understand the problem and that there is no good solution.
A. It is possible to exclude a particular fact type for both primary and witnesses/roles.
B. It is possible to exclude ALL witnessed events but not some.
So, the only way around this is to create two obituary events for the primary, one with witnesses but non-printing for anyone. The other for just the primary that would print on her report.
Am I correct?

Yes, that is correct and your idea would work.
There is an alternative that was often employed before Fact Witnesses were added to FH.
Use the standard Obituary Event for the Primary which is always printed.
Create a custom Witnessed Obituary Event to add to each witness and is always excluded.
If there are different roles for the witnesses then a custom Witnessed Obituary Attribute might be better where the {value} identifies the role in the same way the {value} identifies the job in Occupation Attributes.
