Before you 'reset' your PC did you use either of the Backup and Restore FH Settings plugins to preserve your customisations such as custom facts like DNA Match?

If not, then in Tools > Fact Types... tick Show Hidden and DNA Match should be listed as <undefined>.
Select it and click Edit..., in the warning message click OK, and then you can recreate its characteristics.
If not sure what to enter then ask again.

The previous pc's motherboard broke so I was stuck completely.
Got to it Mike but doesn't say what I had originally and says:

No, it just shows the default settings that you must change to what you need.
I suspect the only two things you need to define are:
  1. Sentence Template
    So what do you want to appear in Narrative Reports for those DNA Match facts?
    Have you an old saved Narrative Report in your documents that shows what it said before?
  2. Advanced... Auto-Create Note
    In your original screenshot, the Note: says Shared DNA, and Shared Segments, etc.
    I suspect the first part of each line is auto-created when you add a DNA Match fact.
    So post a screenshot showing all of the Note: box text and I can explain how to update the definition.

Hi Mike,
Here it is as was but I don't want the sentence as it doesn't make sense, maybe it should say he/she is a DNA match?

It does not have to say anything, in which case the Sentence Template can be just the code {blank}

I'm not sure saying "He/She is a DNA match." is quite the correct wording. What if there is a Date or a Place?
But if you want that then the Sentence Template would be {individual} is a DNA match {date} {place}

An alternative is "His/Her DNA match has been found." with Sentence Template: {individual's} DNA match has been found {date} {place}

To get the Note: text automatically created, click the Advanced... button next to OK.
Then in Auto-Create Note: enter the following...
Shared DNA
Shared Segments
Longest Segment

but use Ctrl+Enter to start each new line.
Finally, click OK.

Now use one of the Backup and Restore FH Settings plugins so your customisation is preserved and can be restored.
