Can you refresh my memory on how to get the maiden names next to the husband on to the main record line list please?

It sounds like you are referring to the Individual tab of the Records window.

To add a column for spouse name, you can do the following.

Right click anywhere on the column headings, select Configure Columns. in the left pane go to the bottom of the list and select <Other...>, add it to the right pane, put in the column heading, click on Insert Data Ref..., expand Spouse, select Name, then click on OK, click on Add, and then click on OK.

In the FH program help search for "Configure Columns Dialog". It is a little skimpy on info, but does explain this to some extent.

I think you're referring to the option to show spouses of the filtered surname.

e.g. enter Smith into the filter box, you are presented with all individuals named Smith
If you click the Options... box to the right, and select Include Husbands' Surnames, the list will change to include anyone married to anyone called Smith

Thank you BillH exactly what I needed. With a tree of 32k plus it's very helpful to see the spouse's name when searching.
Thank you once again.

Have a look at 2nd spouse not showing, sometimes... (20115) that gives the Expression to display the Spouse names not just for the 1st Spouse but also the 2nd Spouse for multiple partnerships, that can easily be extended for the 3rd, 4th, etc, Spouses.
