Numbering of subjects

Post by Voyager10 »

Hi,
I have a lot of people with the same name. It would be useful if the number of the client could appear every where that client is mentioned. i.e. Joe Bloggs (35) Is it possible to do this automatically??

Welcome to the FHUG.

Yes, every Individual record (and every other record) has a unique Record Id number.

That number is often shown in square brackets after the person's name by default.
e.g. in the Property Box caption at the top and the Record Id column in the Records Window.

If not shown by default it can usually be added by adjusting a customisation setting.
e.g. in the Focus Window, use Customize View top right and tick Record Ids near the bottom.

Where else do you need the [ Record Id ] displayed?
