Thanks, David, Lorna, and Mike. I finally got it right. For some reason I misread the instructions, and then when I didn't see the <Custom Item> listing because it was above the scroll of the Custom Property Box window, I improvised and totally screwed up. But, I've got it now. Thanks for your patience in sticking with me and getting me to understand this process.

One further question: Is it possible to get CW Service on the same line as Living and Private. I think I read somewhere that in general it's not, but I thought I should ask specifically in this case.

I'm glad you got there in the end.
Unfortunately you can't have more than two items on a line, even though there would be room for more tick boxes in the same line.
