I am guessing I can't find this answer because I don't know what they are called.
But on my ancestor family tree I have a lot of colored lines that run through the tree to avoid repeating ancestors when they appear in more than one location on the tree.
I assume there is a way to turn this off and let the tree just repeat the ancestors?
thanks
Trent

Yes, with the diagram open use Diagram > Options > General tab and untick Check for Duplicates.
If you want this to be the default, tick Remember Options at the bottom left.
Incidentally if you leave the Check for Duplicates box ticked but click Options next to it and then click Help in the next window and you will see that you can have some control over exactly what is linked by the coloured lines, and the appearance of the lines.

Thank you so much! I was sure it must be there somewhere.
