I am finalizing my conversion from Roots Magic 7 and things are going fairly smooth. But there is one thing that is strange that I can't figure out.

My notes seem to come over fine, at least when I have an individual's record up I can see them in the NOTES tab in the right side of the screen; LOCAL notes, fact notes and Research Notes all appear.
But, when I bring up the RECORDS window, the NOTES tab is empty, but the RESEARCH NOTES tab is populated.
Is there something so obvious that I can't see it, or is there something else going on?

The Notes Tab in the records window are the Shared Note records, i.e. Note Records that can be shared with many individuals. They are not to be confused with the Notes you have created for an individual on their Notes Tab.

Shared notes are created on the individual's Note tab when you select Add Note then select Shared Note Record

I create Shared notes when I think the note may apply to many individuals.
e.g. One of my shared notes states "1939 fact Assumeed, as Register entry has been redacted", another states "One of twins"

Thanks. I'm breathing a little easier now. I must have missed the part where it said that those were only shared notes. So, it looks like everything is working like is is supposed to be (something I'm not used to as a Roots Magic user.)
