Boxes in diagrams for out of wedlock children

Post by crockford » 04 May 2022 14:22

I have just added a child Mary Moppett, to Helena M Moppett that was born out of wedlock (see attached) but an empty box keeps coming up beside her in diagrams. I know I can just hide this box but then I have to save the diagram and give it a Chart Name. Is there a way to stop theses boxes from showing for children like Mary Moppett in diagrams other than hiding them? I can't remember this happening before?

Have a look at this topic, which discusses the same problem at some length:
Empty boxes on a diagram (20282)
As you will see, the rules are somewhat complicated!
