Report showing media

Post by martinreed » 03 May 2022 04:04

I have a flag indicating where I have a 'face photo' media for an individual.
I would like to be able to produce a report showing brief details and the photo for that indiviual or groups of individuals
How do I do this?

Martin, I'm not entirely sure exactly what you want to achieve and whether you are happy with a manual process or require some degree of automation.

This process works in FH V7.0 and may be slightly different in FH V6.2:
Open the Property Box of the Individual who has a 'face photo' media of interest.
In the Media tab, right-click the 'face photo' media and choose Go To Media Record.
In the now open Property Box of the Media, click the Go To Record icon in its toolbar (the stack of discs with red arrow).
That selects the Media record in the Records Window and you can use Publish > Media Report to report its details.

If that is not what you require then please explain in more detail your objectives.

It sounds as if you want to produce one report for per photo, in which case use the method Mike suggests.
If you want a report containing all the photos of one person, use Publish > Miscellaneous Reports > Individual Scrapbook.
