The How Related - Display Graphically diagram is extremely useful to summarise DNA matches.

In a new FH session, the first time I prepare a How Related diagram, the box borders and interconnecting lines (except for spouses below the nexus ancestral couple) are red. If in the same session I create a second How Related diagram the box border and interconnecting lines are a colour other than red. If I keep creating such diagrams in the same session, then the colour FH ascribes is different each time until it finally comes back to red and then the colours again scroll through as before.

I would like to fix the colour of the box borders and interconnecting lines at say red for the whole session.

I presume that this is possible but as yet have not worked out how to control this.

Any comments and guidance would be appreciated.

When you have created the diagram using the How Related tool you can use Diagram > Family Connection Mapper (or click the Connect icon near the end of the main toolbar) and then use Format to select your preferred colour.

You can also tick Save Options to save that colour, but this colour only seems to be used when you create further diagrams and then add routes to them afterwards using the Family Connection Mapper. The colour doesn't seem to be saved and used if you generate further diagrams using Tools > How Related!
