custom source templates

Post by santatraugott » 02 Apr 2022 16:22

I have several templates in the Custom Source collection. This morning I cloned an Essentials template and then modified it in the Custom Template collection. It shows up there as "modified." The problem I am having is that when I try to create a citation using a Source Template, there are no Custom templates listed as options to select. Only Essential templates are shown. How do I get access to the custom templates I have created? I think I am missing a step (or two) somewhere.

In the Tools > Source Template Definitions... dialogue have you used the Add to Project button?

It must also have a different Name from any Essentials existing Source Template otherwise it gets eclipsed.

Changing the template name did the trick. Thanks.
