* Strange behaviour of prperty box since installing latest update

I normally have the property box postioned to the right of the Focus window but I cannot find a way to do this since installing v7.0.11.
If I select "Properties" from the bottom of the View menu it overwrites the whole FH window (below the menu bars)
If I then click the Float Property Box icon, it floats correctly and I can resize and/or relocate it anywhere on my screen
But if I then then click the "Dock Property Box" icon, it immediately occupies the whole width of the FH screen.

I have tried closing and re-opening FH, but have not yet tried re-installing it.
Any ideas?

It sounds as if you have somehow accidentally enlarged the width of the docked Property Box. When it appears to be covering the whole screen can you see the small row of vertical dots half way down the left hand side? If so, use the mouse to 'grab' these and drag that line to the right until it is the required size.

Also check that you still have Tools>Preferences>Workspaces options set for the Property Box to be Docked when viewing the Focus Window.

Thank you very much , Lorna.

The Preferences setting was OK and I was able to narrow the Property Box as you suggested.

A bonus is that I had never looked carefully at the Preferences window before and I can now see other choices which might be useful in the future
