Hi Folks
Another issue with migrating to this new Laptop running WIN11.
The restore from Backup appeared to go okay but I noticed certain Media files have the wrong folder path name, I suspect this is because of the length of the path name. But I can't seem to fix it and have it stay fixed.
How do I get the media 20 files circled red in the attached images to be in the same path as the hundreds of other media files please.

Re: New Laptop - FH7 Restore from Backup > Media Issue
Did you follow the Family Historian Copy and Migration Guide regarding Media Files?
How do those listings compare with the same for the source PC?
It sounds like you expect them all to be inside the Project Data Folder - Media - Marriage.
Is that where they exist on the source PC?
Presumably, you used the recommended File > Backup/Restore... commands to migrate the Project?
However, that would not include media files outside the Project's Media folder.
I don't understand why the media files would move to the D:\ drive even if the file paths are excessively long.
Nevertheless, they do seem to exceed the 250 character limit if moved into the Project's Media\Marriages folder.
In which case you need to change your naming conventions or patch the Windows Registry key to relax the length limit.
What attempts to fix it have you tried?
The recommended tactic to adopt is to use Windows File Explorer to MOVE (not COPY) that D: drive Marriage folder of files to the C:\Users\david\Documents\Family Historian Projects\1_AS\1_AS.fhdata\Media\Marriage folder.
Then in FH use the Tools > External File Links... command and note that the D:\ drive links are now all X broken.
The Auto Repair Links button should repair those broken links and move them to Project Data Folder - Media - Marriage.

Re: New Laptop - FH7 Restore from Backup > Media Issue
Hi Mike
The Media paths are as I would have expected on the legacy laptop, no issues at all and all in the same folder/path. So I'm not sure how this has happened.
Anyway I followed your solution and that worked fine Thank You very much.
