Duplicated spouses
Has the system for merging identical families changed? When I go through Lorna's video I can't get to family links from record links?

Re: Duplicated spouses
It's not my video - I have not made any.
You are probably referring to Jane's video on Merging Duplicate Family Records. Nothing has changed. You should be able to select one of the duplicate family records shown in your screenshot and then click Go to Record.

Sorry Lorna I thought it was yours! However I can't access the family records on FH7 so can't use that system, is there another way to do it?

Re: Duplicated spouses
Do you just mean that the Families tab is not displayed in the Records window? If so, use Tools > Preferences > Records Window and set the Record Type Display Oprions to Always Show for Families.
On viewing Jane's video again I realise that there has been a slight change since she made it. When you select one of the families in the Record Links window and click Go to Record you are not taken straight to the Families tab of the Records window. Instead the family record is opened in the Property Box. You then need to click the Go to Record icon in the toolbar af the Property Box (the icon with the small red arrow pointing left). This takes you to the Records window.
However you could simply go straight to the Families tab of the Records window and select the record there, without going via the View>Record Links route. If necessary click the first column heading to sort the records by surname of the husband, to ensure that the two records for the same people are listed next to each other.
