Note records
Hi. I have two databases. In one of the databases the notes show when I select Notes from the tool bar Individuals, Families, Notes etc. but in the other the notes are not displayed. As far as I can see the settings are identical for both databases. I have updated to Version 7. Can you solve the problem please?

Re: Note records
I think you are talking about two Projects and the Records Window tabs that display each type of record.
The symptoms are nothing to do with updating to FH v7. They existed in FH v6 but perhaps you had not noticed.
The short answer is that one Project does have Note records and the other Project does not.
Perhaps, you don't appreciate the difference between Note records and local Note fields.
In say the Individual Property Box, the Main tab Note box and the Facts tab Note box for each Fact are local Note fields within the Individual record. They are not separate records in the way that Source records or Media records are.
Open the Notes tab of the Property Box and each Type of Note is made clear.
Note records with a yellow-folder icon can be linked to multiple records.
Local Notes have a blue or red bullet and are internal to one Individual or Family record.
Projects that you create from scratch tend not to use Note records unless you do so deliberately so they can be shared by several other records.
Projects that are imported from another product often have Note records linked to only one other record because many products do not support local Note fields at all.
